Ancol Ergo Flea Comb for Dogs

The Ancol Ergo Flea Comb has an ergonomic handle and fine, rounded stainless steel teeth designed to safely remove fleas, flea eggs, and debris from pet coats without scratching the skin, suitable for all coat types (though longer coats need detangling first) and great for bonding and checking for parasites. Key features include comfort for the pet and owner, effectiveness in trapping pests, and ease of cleaning, making it a staple for flea detection and removal.

  • Ideal for getting fleas and flea eggs out of any type of coat
  • With fine stainless steel teeth that will trap and remove fleas
  • With rounded teeth to ensure your dog's comfort

We are committed to reducing our packaging and using recycled and recyclable packaging. This now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.

Directions for use:

Ensure your dog's coat is free of tangles of knots. Gently comb the hair in the direction of the fur growth. Use the comb on the whole body, but pay particular attention to the neck and around the ears as this is when fleas are likely to be. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, do not push the comb into the dog's skin. The fine stainless-steel teeth will trap and remove fleas. If fleas or eggs are identified, seek further treatment.

Grooming tips:

Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

Thomas ★★★★★

The rounded stainless steel teeth glide through my dog's thick double coat without scratching his skin, which was my main worry. It pulled up a bunch of flea dirt and loose hair on the first pass, and the ergonomic handle didn't cramp my hand even after ten minutes.

Christopher C. ★★★★★

My cat actually sat still while I used this on her, and the ergonomic handle made it easy to reach every spot. The fine stainless steel teeth caught fleas and debris without scratching her skin.

Michael ★★★★★

The rounded steel teeth glide through my dog's fur without snagging, and the ergonomic handle makes it easy to reach tricky spots behind his ears. I found a couple of fleas on the first pass, but the comb pulled them out cleanly without him squirming.
