Directions for use:

To use the slicker, slowly and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The bendy pins will pull away loose hairs hair leaving a smooth and neat coat. If your dog is comfortable with the slicker, press gently on the tool to remove more fur from the undercoat. The pins of the slicker are bendy to prevent discomfort, however, do not press them into your dog's skin. To remove a tangle, isolate the fur and gently pull the slicker through the tangle, starting from the outside and working in as the fur de-tangles. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.

Grooming tips:

Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

Scarlett ★★★★★

I've got a husky mix that sheds like crazy, and this slicker actually pulls out the undercoat without scratching her skin. The wire bristles are fine enough to get through her thick fur, and she'll sit still for it now instead of squirming away.

Timothy X. ★★★★★

The fine wire bristles grab way more undercoat than the old rubber curry I was using, and my lab actually stands still for it now. It pulls a surprising amount of dead fur off without scratching his skin, even around the ears. Genuinely the best ten minutes of his week.

Leo E. ★★★★☆

It does a solid job pulling out loose fur and working through tangles without tugging too hard, which my spaniel tolerates. Only gripe is the bristles aren't super gentle on very sensitive spots, but for a daily quick brush it's exactly what I needed.
